If you are new to the sport of boomerangs we certainly hope you will find it to be a blast!
Like many sports it takes patience and practice to develop the required skill. Some boomerangs are more forgiving than others. To ensure quick positive results start with the Rookie Package or any 'rang from the Rookie page. Advanced throwers love the solid quality flights of the 'rangs listed on the Rookie page, too!
Beginner Boomerangs
This assortment is the place to start, but even advanced throwers appreciate the solid quality flight of these 'rangs.
Glacier
Traditional shape that keeps coming back. Great for kids (10+). Hovers like a helicopter. 30 yard round flight. Wind: light.
Crested Butte
It's a traditional "V" shape that won't let you down. A great beginner rang and a great paint job. 25 yard round flight. wind: light-medium.

Aspen
Kids (10+) love it because it's lightweight and easy. With no proper top or bottom it's difficult to misthrow. An easy warm-up rang too! 30 yard round flight. wind: light-medium.
Everest
A traditional "V" shaped rang that has a nice elliptical flight. Beginner to advanced thrower. 25 yard round flight. wind: calm-medium.
E-Rang
With the illusion of the center dot, this rang is as fun to watch as it is to throw. Great flight and easy catch. 30 yard round flight. wind: light-medium.
Seagull
Same shape as the Aspen, but made out of thicker wood. The long hover gives plenty of opportunities for catches. 30+ yard round flight. wind: light-medium.
Yanaki
Excellent first timer. You cannot & will not go wrong with this rang. A rang for all ages. 35 yard elliptical flight. wind: light-medium.
Adirondack
This is the boom if your looking for a cool low flight. Good beginner rang! Consistent flights. 35 yard elliptical flight. wind: light-medium.

Typhoon

Windicator
The Windicator is a device which sticks in the ground and enables boomerang throwers to get precise measurement of the wind direction for each throw. Wind direction changes frequently in many environments so having a "windicator" will improve your boomerang throwing performance substantially. Please note - boomerangs will not come back unless they are thrown properly. Read the directions for a few minutes and you will understand the physics of boomerang throwing and you will be able to get them to return. You need to throw them in the correct wind direction in order to get them to return. It is very cool to acquire this skill so why not do it right!
